This rain is preparing the ground for winter, and soon after that, spring. The rain shall nourish the soil which will later yield spring delights. Soon, the rain shall cease, and for a time we shall enjoy the warmth of the sun and the autumn breeze.
So, what storm hangs over you today? Do you see the gloom and fail to remember that the sun still shines above those clouds? Persevere, and remember:
"Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning." Psalm 30:5
Take some time to strengthen your heart in the promises of God's Word today.
"Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised)" Hebrews 10:23
Today is a rainy day... but remember, the sun still shines above those clouds!

It is a lovely rainy day here, as well, and I am applying your principles of godliness and contentment to my day as well. Yes, there may be mud and gloom, but I can feel the sunshine of the Lord in my heart and mind as He brings you into my life. Cheerio, my friend!

The best cure? Well, an Aga cooker to sit by, with a plate of fresh scones not long out of the Aga, with home made jams, unsalted butter and clotted cream with a large pot of Tetley's Tea!
